Depending on different skin types and hair textures, it can take anywhere from 4-6 treatments to achieve desired results . Patients do see results after the very first treatment with the hair growing back much finer and slower. After each visit you will notice less and less hair growing back.

When Is The Best Time To Schedule Laser Hair Removal Treatments?

It is ideal to begin your laser hair removal treatment after the Summer is over: when you are ready to stop tanning. Having regular treatments throughout the fall, winter and spring will leave you smooth and ready for summer!

How Should I Prepare For My Appointment?

Do not tan your skin or self tan for 2 weeks before your appointment. Do not use any products containing Salicylic Acid or Hydrogen Peroxide 24 hours before your appointment as it might make your skin more sensitive to light. If you take medication please consult your physician to make sure your medicines will not cause photosensitivity. Remember do not stop taking any of your medications without the advice of a medical physician. Lastly, you should shave the day of your appointment. Laser hair treatment requires hair to be shaved as close as possible to maximize laser accuracy and results.

What Should I Do After My Treatment?

It is normal to have some minor swelling after treatment. The swelling will subside the day of your appointment several hours later. We encourage you to wear sunblock for 2 weeks after your treatment. Don't exfoliate your skin 2 days following your treatment. Remember you want to take care of your skin so baby it especially after treatment. Any remaining hair will shed out on its own within 7 - 14 days.
